Full Mouth Reconstruction

Full mouth reconstruction or sometimes referred to as full mouth rehabilitation takes into consideration the condition of the entire mouth including the position of the bite and the overall health of your teeth and gums. Dr. Strauss evaluates symptoms you may be experiencing related to your jaw joint or bite. Using computerized bite evaluation, Dr. Strauss can determine the optimal bite position. The technology used is so advanced that only a limited number of dentists are trained to use it. The patient is made an orthotic appliance to keep them in a relaxed bite position which is worn for a predetermined length of time. Any gum disease is addressed to lay a good foundation for restorative work. Then using advanced restorative materials and a highly trained lab, Dr. Strauss can reconstruct your mouth to result in the proper jaw and bite position determined earlier. This type of reconstruction addresses comfort, functionality and esthetics so you will look good and feel good too.
